Founding members remember opening night, 1927

The house archive holds a handful of letters from the 1927 opening week, mostly complaints about ticket prices and one enthusiastic account of the Wurlitzer organ that no longer exists. We are publishing three of them, lightly edited for length, ahead of this year’s anniversary screening.
